Full Measured Building Survey, 3d Laser Scanning, Section and Elevations - Office Block, Plymouth

The results of a recently carried out full measured building survey of an office block in Plymouth. The drawings were required as the building is applying for a change of use. Using two laser scanners, we were able to capture all the data in just one day – making it an extremely efficient method of capture. The main areas of the building to be measured included three staircases, the lift core and varying floor-to-ceiling heights, all of which were accurately reflected in the final sections and elevations. A smooth start-to-end process that shows how powerful laser scanning can be for detailed, reliable results.
